If there is a way to make voobly work, could anyone give me a step-by-step process? If not, then I guess I will just have to wait for the update to gameranger and, in the meantime, keep practicing against the computer. (Again, I wish I had a legit copy of the TT for Mac, but couldn't find anywhere to buy it.)
I guess what I am asking is if there is a good, simple and reliable way to make voobly work for Mac gamers - especially those with an non-legit copy of the game. To make it work (with direct connection) I tried almost everything: Port. What are my options? Just wait for gameranger to update for use with Mavericks? Is there a good way to make Voobly work for Mac? Mind you, I am fairly technically deficient. Gameranger used to work perfectly but current version no longer works in 10.9. (Not quite an iMac, but still comparable to many 2000 vintage machines.) GameRanger GameRanger for Macintosh, is a helpful program for finding the best games on the 'net.

Over the years I upgraded with a Sonnet G3/400MHz, 136 Mb RAM, 10 Gb HD, Voodoo3 2000 PCI video card, 25x CD-ROM, and SCSI Yamaha 400t CD-R, running with Mac OS 9.2.2. My question is, where to go? Voobly to the best of my knowledge does not work with Mac. (I was never the best player, but definitely much, much better than average back in the day.) Download provided by the Age Knight Clan. This download allows you to play Rise of Rome on your MAC, and with a little tweaking, works great with Gameranger. I was able to download a torrent off of a website that appears to be the complete titans game. If you havent updated to El Capitan, you can still download the older Mavericks version of the game I released about 10 months ago. Besides, I have a Mac now and they wouldn't work anyway. After that you can start a new game by hosting it or join an existing game. To use GameRanger, after installing it on your computer create a new account, activate it, and log in.

They simply have never made a better RTS. For Mac, it supports all versions except the latest version Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks. However, there is just no question that it is the greatest game of all time!! Amazing game. Been a long time since I have played this game.like, what, a decade.
